Day by Day Itinerary
- Day 1 Beijing/Simatai Great Wall – L.D
- Pick you up from your hotel at 9:00am. Drive about 2 hours to Simatai Great Wall. Then check in at the courtyard hotel Simashanzhuang Hotel, which is just at the foot of the Simatai Great Wall. After your lunch, hike the Simatai Great Wall for about 3 hours. After dinner you may enjoy the night view of the valley.

Simatai Section is 5.4 km long with 35 watchtowers. Hanging precariously onto the YanShan Mountains, SiMaTai Great Wall is known for its steepness, ruggedness and outstanding beauty. - Day 2, Jinshangling to Simatai Section / Beijing
- After breakfast, drive to the Jinshanling Section (about 30 KM)and hike from Jinshanling Great Wall to the west section of Simatai Great wall. The hike is about 12 KM and takes about 4-5 hours. Get down the hill at the foot of Simatai at about 2:00PM. After lunch you will be transferred back to your downtown hotel in Beijing.
Features
The Jinshanling Great Wall features complicated and well preserved fortification systems and possesses the largest number of watchtowers. The walls were more solidly than Simatai. Here you can see the wall relatively undisturbed and in its original condition, so it has a special beauty. Jinshanling Great Wall is quite steep and stony, trekking it can be a real challenge.
Hotel & Accommodations:
Simashanzhuang Hotel is located at the foot of the Simatai Great Wall. It is a classic Chinese courtyard style hotel. The room facilities include hot water, Television, Air-conditioning and toilet. which is the best of the same kind.
