    Day by Day Itinerary

  • Day 1 Arrive Beijing
  • Arrive in Beijing and transfer to the hotel. You will have a free day to explore the city.
  • Day 2 Beijing - B.L.D
  • This morning, see vast Tiananmen Square and the extravagant Ming–era Imperial Palace in the Forbidden City, including the jewelry section. After lunch, visit the elegant Summer Palace with the Kunming Lake cruise, a UNESCO World Heritage site, with the largest imperial garden in the world. You will have delicious Beijing Duck for dinner.
  • Day 3 Beijing - B.L
  • Today you will visit the renowned Great Wall. After about 1 hours drive you will arrive at the amazing Great Wall, and walk along its ramparts as emperors once did. After lunch, visit a Cloisonné Factory and tour Beijing’s historic Hutong (“narrow lanes”) area by old–fashioned Pedi cab. Climb up the Drum Tower and see a traditional drum performance. Visit a local family living in a courtyard–style home known as a Siheyuan. On the way stop to photograph the “Bird’s Nest”– host to many spectacular events of the 2008 Summer Olympics.
  • Day 4 Beijing/Xi’an –B.L.D
  • This morning, visit the exquisite 15th century Temple of Heaven. See the Imperial Ceiling of Heaven with its Echo Wall and the Nine–Dragon Cypress, more than 500 years old. Take afternoon flight to ancient city Xian. This evening, enjoy a fabulous Tang Dynasty show.
  • Day 5 Xi’an – B.L
  • An unforgettable day as your sightseeing tour takes you to view the world-renowned legion of terra-cotta warriors. Enjoy a Chinese style lunch. This afternoon, visit the exquisite Small Wild Goose Pagoda and the Xi'an History Museum.
  • Day 6 Xi’an/Shanghai – B
  • The morning is at leisure. Take afternoon flight to cosmopolitan Shanghai. Free to explore the city.
  • Day 7 Shanghai – B.L.D
  • Sightsee Shanghai's highlights: the Shanghai Museum, Nanjing Road and Yu Garden. Walk along the city's colonial European past at The Bund. After dinner, enjoy front section seating at an astonishing performance of the world famous Shanghai acrobats.
  • Day 8 Shanghai /Guilin – B
  • This morning is free to explore on your own. In the afternoon fly to Guilin, set in the heart of a magnificent landscape, inspiration to Chinese artists and poets for centuries. Check into your hotel.
  • Day 9 Guilin –– B.L
  • A fantastic cruise on the upper deck of a boat along the Li River reveals the haunting beauty of Guilin’s mist–wrapped peaks en route to Yangshuo. Enjoy lunch on board the boat. Then drive back to Guilin and explore the senic landscape city.
  • Day 10 Guilin/Hong Kong – B.L.D
  • This morning, see dramatic rock formations at Reed Flute Cave and Fu Bo Hill. Then transfer to the airport as you take afternoon flight to exciting Hong Kong, where you will check into your hotel.
  • Day 11 Hong Kong – B
  • Today we show off this dynamic city; sightseeing includes Stanley Market, then on to fashionable Repulse Bay, followed by a sampan ride to see the floating community at Aberdeen. Ride to the summit of Victoria Peak which affords unsurpassed panoramic vistas of the city.
  • Day 12 Depart Hong Kong – B
